New things. New places. Shared experiences.
Our Fall Program provides curated small-group, supported experiences where children and youth can try new things, explore more of their community and connect with others along the way.
Sometimes community starts with simply doing something together.
Making friends isn't always easy. Neither is walking into a new place, joining an unfamiliar group or trying something you've never done before. Community Lab creates supported opportunities to do those things alongside other children.
There may be surprises. There may be challenges. There may be something completely new. But the activity isn't really the point. The experience is. And shared experiences give children something powerful to build community with, and around.
What we're creating more of.
EXPERIENCE
New activities, environments and opportunities to discover what feels interesting, challenging or fun.
CONNECTION
Time alongside other children with something shared between them. No forced friendships; more opportunity for connection to happen naturally.
BELONGING
Greater comfort being part of a group, returning to familiar spaces and participating within the wider community.
Small by design. Structured, not rigid. Supported, not controlled. Together, not identical.
Small groups help us understand who is participating and how the group itself is working.
Predictable structure can make something new more manageable.
Support should make participation possible without taking over the experience.
Being part of something does not require everyone to experience it in the same way.
